Kool Kidz Read Code of Conduct

Kool Kidz Read wishes to promote positive communication in an atmosphere of mutual respect. We do our best to encourage comfortable, non-disruptive communication during read-aloud sessions, via social networking sites, and in-person meetups.
 

Kool Kidz Read welcomes people of all races, religions, economic backgrounds, color, and preferred pronouns. We do not tolerate expressions of bigotry, hatred, harassment, or abuse, nor will we tolerate threats of harm to anyone. We are an all-inclusive organization, and we welcome anyone who supports our mission.

Kool Kidz Read does not condone any personal attack or attempts at bullying any member orally, written, or otherwise. This conduct will not be tolerated. This includes attacks on one’s personal appearance, religious beliefs, preferences, expressions, or anything else considered personal.

Kool Kidz Read does not interfere with the personal lives of our Leaders, parents, or caregivers. While we encourage building a strong community and developing strong personal relationships within club sessions and meetups, that will at times continue outside of scheduled Kool Kidz Read functions. Please respect the privacy of our Leaders, parents, and caregivers, outside of the organization’s functions. Please also respect our Leader’s privacy when sharing your Kool Kidz Read experience via social media, blogs, or websites.  

 Violation of the code of conduct can result in suspension or termination of your Leader’s membership with Kool Kidz Read. Only the Kool Kidz Read Founder is authorized to suspend or revoke the membership of any Leader, parent, or caregiver.
